Do you know who doesn’t care about how technologically impressive your website is?
Literally every one of your users.
Users don’t care about Javascript libraries. They don’t care about an unparalleled developer experience. They don’t care about your business objectives, KPIs, or technical architecture.
Users care about getting their shit done.
Do more of what users want from you. Make these things easy for them to do. You might just have to talk to them. Yeah, that’s a lot of work, but it’s important to know you’re building the right thing before you can build things right. The tools and technology you choose are important, but secondary.
I realize these aren’t terribly deep or original thoughts, but this is what I find myself thinking about more and more lately.
